Information you choose to provide

This site does not require an account. If you email Doug, complete a Cal.com form, purchase through a linked checkout, or begin coaching, information may include your name, email, time zone, scheduling choices, musical goals, form answers, purchase and refund records, lesson notes, and any materials you choose to share.

Do not place sensitive medical, financial or identity information in an open text field. Doug does not ask for income, a home address, government identification or full card details in the coaching-fit form.

How information is used

Information is used to respond to you, assess coaching fit, schedule and deliver services, send confirmations and requested materials, process and reconcile payments, prevent fraud and disputes, maintain tax and business records, improve accessibility and service quality, and comply with legal obligations.

Doug does not sell personal information or use it for third-party targeted advertising.

Optional analytics

The site asks for your choice before loading Google Analytics. If you accept, Google Analytics may record page views, approximate location, device and browser information, referral campaign information, scrolling, outbound-link activity and booking-button clicks. Doug does not send names, email addresses, form answers or payment details to Google Analytics. Declining does not limit the site.

Bookings, payments and other providers

Cal.com handles scheduling and its form submissions. Stripe or another named payment provider processes payment. Doug receives transaction, status and contact information needed to fulfill and reconcile a purchase, but this website does not receive or store your full card number. Email, video, music, file-delivery and merchandise services may process information only when they are used to provide the requested service.

Recordings and students under 18

A lesson recording is created only with consent and is used for the student's private educational reference unless separate publication permission is granted. A parent or legal guardian must complete the booking and provide any required consent for a student under 18. This site and its forms are not directed to children under 13, and children under 13 should not submit information directly.

Retention and security

Doug keeps information only as long as reasonably needed for the purpose collected, an active coaching relationship, support, fraud prevention, accounting, tax or legal requirements. Retention periods differ by record type. Reasonable administrative and technical safeguards are used, but no internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

Your choices and requests

You can decline optional analytics, unsubscribe from non-transactional email, and ask what information Doug has about you. You may request access, correction or deletion when retention is not required for payment, tax, fraud-prevention or legal purposes. You may also ask for an appeal if a privacy request is denied. Doug will verify a request before disclosing or deleting information.

Changes to this notice

This notice may be updated as providers or practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version. A material change will be described clearly before it applies when notice is required.
